Keto Deep Dish Sausage Crust Pizza
Ingredients
Sausage Crust
- 1 lb Italian Sausage (hot or mild)
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp Italian herb seasoning
- 3 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
Pizza Sauce (if you cant find a low carb, sugar free)
- 1 28oz tomato sauce (find low carb, sugar free)
- 1 tbsp minced garlic
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 2 tsp Italian herb seasoning
Pizza Topping (choose your favorite keto toppings, I have only listed the cheese needed!)
- 2 cups mozzarella cheese
Instructions
Sausage Crust
- Preheat the oven to 350F
- Using a spring foam pan, press the sausage into the pan.
- Season the sausage with the remaining ingredients.
- Bake for 10 minutes or until the sausage is grey, not browned.
- Drain excess grease if necessary
Pizza Sauce (you can skip this step if you have found a sugar free carb free sauce)
- In a saucepan heat olive oil, add garlic and seasoning until golden brown.
- Add tomato sauce and simmer for 15 minutes on low heat
Pizza Toppings!
- On the sausage crust sprinkle 1/2 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese along with your preferred keto toppings. Place the pizza back in the oven till the cheese is melted.
- Remove the pizza from the oven, add pizza sauce, another layer of shredded mozzarella cheese, and your preferred toppings, and repeat till your pizza is complete.
Notes
I have also made this on a pizza sheet so it is more of a thin crust pizza. Enjoy!!
